Color Me Country Artist Grant Fund has Joined forces with Newport Festivals Foundation!!!
Well, the cat’s out of the bag! Color Me Country Artist Grant Fund, Rainey Day Fund, and Rosetta Fund have all partnered with Newport Festival Foundation to raise even more money, reach more artists, and administer the funds. This is still my baby, your money is still going to the artists, and the mission is still the same: to provide grants to BIPOC artists pursuing careers in Country and Americana music. Color Me Country Radio w/ Rissi Palmer Live Taping w/ Charly Lowry & Roger Dale on November 18!
As part of NC State LIVE’s social justice residency with the inimitable Rissi Palmer, we’ve teamed up with NC State Libraries to offer a FREE live taping of Rissi’s Apple Music radio show Color Me Country. Rissi will interview indigenous music makers Charly Lowry(Lumbee/Tuscarora) and Roger Dale (Lumbee). They’ll share laughs, live music, history, and personal insights all in front of a studio audience on Thursday, November 18 at 7:30pm.
